It's always a bedtime battle at our house. Every single night. We read books to Sydney, play a quiet game with her, get her one last drink of water and then leave, fully expecting her to drift off to sleep on her own while we clean the kitchen. From downstairs we typically hear: her jumping up and down on her bed; some crashing noises as she tries to pull things down from the closet, electronic sounds from her leap pad and if it's really really quiet, we start to wonder what she's up to. This is what we found on one occasion.

All Dressed up and Refusing to Sleep
